GENERAL DIRECTOR
Dr. Tim Hill currently serves as general director of World Missions. He has also served as the First Assistant General Overseer; Second Assistant General Overseer; Secretary General of the Executive Committee at the International Offices of the Church of God; Chairman of the Executive Council of the Church of God; and as Administrative Bishop for the Church of God in Southern Ohio and Oklahoma.
Hill graduated from Lee University, Cleveland, Tennessee, in 1987, and received a Doctorate of Divinity from the Church of God Theological Seminary, Cleveland, Tennessee, in 2006.
Hill has released a book entitled, “Beyond the Mist,” which has also been translated into Spanish. He has authored five books of sermons and written 150 gospel songs over the past 32 years. Many of his songs have been recorded by the nation’s top artists in gospel music. Hill is the author of the number one song, “He’s Still in the Fire,” which was voted as Song of the Year by Gospel Voice Magazine.

John D. Childers has served in the local church as youth pastor and senior pastor. He served as state Youth and Christian Education director of Delmarva-DC, Tennessee, North Georgia, and Alabama. Childers was elected in 1996 as assistant international director of Youth and Christian Education and international director of Youth and Christian Education in 2000.
In 2004, Childers was appointed as administrative bishop of Northern Ohio and most recently served as the administrative bishop of Alabama.
Childers also has served the International Church of God as a member of the Executive Council, member of the General Assembly Cabinet, and many other boards and committees. Bishop Childers is an innovative, energetic leader who has a passion for excellence in kingdom ministry. Ministerial and pastoral resourcing was a focal point of his vision for Alabama.
DEE RAFF
MISSIONS ADMINISTRATOR
The daughter of church planter/missionary parents, Dee Raff has always had a keen awareness of the Great Commission. She acknowledged the hand of God on her life at a young age and realized she would somehow be involved in missions work.
Prior to joining the ministries of World Missions, Dee worked for large companies both in Australia and the United States in administrative roles. Her formal education and training in business management, combined with a passion for the world harvest, have prepared her for the position she now holds as Office Administrator.

John brings a wide array of experience and a passion for caring for hurting children and the missionary staff who provide that care to this assignment. He has served as pastor, law enforcement chaplain, foster parent recruiting & training, adjunct professor at Lee University, Teen Challenge Board and orphanage consultant. He currently serves on the People for Care and Learning Board.
“With the needs and numbers of children growing ever larger, our goal is to provide much needed support and training to our missionary staff,” states Sweet.
During John’s pastorate he founded a foster care program that eventually was moved to Smoky Mountain Children’s Home, where he served as director from 2007-13. John is the author of the book, Healing for a Hurting World: Five Steps to Behavioral Change, which serves as an evidenced based training manual for childcare staff. A recently revised edition of his Five Steps book, titled Parenting: The Peacemaking Model, furnishes guidance to parents of troubled children.

An ardent promoter of ministerial training, Bill has taught at Lee University on two occasions, first as an instructor in Bible, later as founding director of the intercultural studies program, an interdisciplinary major preparing students for foreign missions and inner-city ministry.
He was a member for eight years of the denomination’s General Board of Education, serving as its chairman when the church officially adopted the Ministerial Internship Program.
Bro. George served as the first editor of missions publications for Church of God World Missions. He was also a missionary, first as overseer of the Dominican Republic and later as the founding director of the Mexican Bible Seminary.
Bro. George is well-known as a church growth consultant, a writer, editor, pastor and educator. He brings a passion for ministry and ministerial training to his work at World Missions.

Grady Murphy is the coordinator of missions communications for World Missions. This office works in the areas of video and Internet communications.
Murphy joined World Missions in 2003 and most recently served as the supervisor of Internet ministries. Before coming to Cleveland, he served in local churches as an associate for a combined 19 years. He also worked at Pathway Music and for the Department of Music Ministries as a representative and in marketing. He has undergraduate and graduate degrees in music education from Lee University and Furman University.
The goal of the office of missions communications is to provide a rich variety of media information and inspiration that reflects the passion and work of World Missions.

Paula Hill currently serves as World Missions Coordinator for Women’s Ministries. She has also served on the Church of God Women’s Ministries Advisory Council since 2004, and as the State President for Women’s Ministries in Oklahoma and Southern Ohio.
Paula has served alongside her husband as a pastor’s wife in Keller, Texas, and Danville, Virginia. She has also ministered in song, and recorded several projects with her husband.
Paula has been a speaker at many conventions, camp meetings, and conferences.

Debbie Childers is the wife of John D. Childers who currently serves as the Assistant Director of Church of God World Missions. Debbie has most recently served as President of Women’s Discipleship in the states of Alabama and Northern Ohio. She is passionate about seeing God revealed in the lives of women around the world. Debbie is the mother of two sons, Jonathan, married to Vanessa and Jeremy, married to Ashlie. Debbie and her husband John are anticipating the birth of their first granddaughter Austyn Janna in July 2013.

KENNETH T BLANTON

Kenneth T. Blanton is a certified public accountant, who joined Church of God World Missions in 1994. As chief financial officer, he directs the accounting, information systems and donor relations staff. Besides the preparation and analysis of financial information, he oversees the development of computer software, the preparation of reports from the field to donors, and the processing of donor inquiries. Blanton has experience in both public and private accounting. Before coming to World Missions, he served as Director of Accounting and Assistant Treasurer for a major employer in Cleveland.

Jim Golden is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Certified Database Administrator who joined World Missions in 1992. As Manager of Information Technology, he directly supervises the information systems staff, assists missionaries and national leaders with their computer needs, and ensures the computer systems of World Missions are operating at their peak effectiveness.
Before coming to World Missions, he served as Network Administrator for Lee University, and as a Programmer/Analyst at a Wall Street money brokerage firm.

Yolanda Guy serves as the Manager of Donor Relations. Yolanda came to work for World Missions in 1985 and has served in this position for the past 23 years. The Donor Relations area serves as an information link between World Missions contributors and the Mission field. This involves processing of all donations, which include contributions, credit card donations, and missions service reports.

Peter A. Thomas has served as the Regional Superintendent for Central Africa and in addition as C.E. – Director for Church of God Africa, West, Central & Eastern Africa. A native of Germany, he experienced Christ as his Savior at the age of 19 and received a call to Ministry and Missions while attending EBS in Rudersberg. In 1979 he went to Ghana, West Africa teaching at GBI and pastoring the CityChurch in Kumasi. In 1986, after studies at Church of God Seminary in Cleveland he and his family moved to Zimbabwe, where he was appointed to serve as C.E. – Coordinator for Africa. In 1995 he moved to Nairobi, Kenya and continues to serve in this ministry until his present appointment.

Ken Anderson has served World Missions as a missionary pilot, associate missionary and as a Regional Superintendent. Most recently he has served as pastor of River of Life Church of God in Anderson, South Carolina.
He says, “While a senior at Lee University, God began dealing with me about missions. In 1984, after graduation, I began flight school and a strong desire to enter missionary aviation became my long-term goal.”
Prior to his appointment in 2010 as field director of Asia/Pacific, Anderson served as the field director of BRACAMEX (Brazil, Central America, Mexico).

Ishmael Prince Charles, a graduate of Lee University and the Church of God Theological Seminary, is Pastor of the New Testament Church of God International Worship Center in Tortola, British Virgin Islands, with over 800 members. He is also the territorial overseer of the British Virgin Islands, St. Kitts & Nevis, Dominica, and Guadeloupe. In addition, Charles has served as a member of the Church of God World Missions Board for eight years. He has served in a number of other capacities such as youth director, missions coordinator, and evangelism director.
Bishop Charles has ministered the gospel in crusades, revivals, camp meetings, and conferences across the United States, England, Kenya, Zambia, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, Brazil, and over 16 countries in the Caribbean. He has hosted a weekly radio and television program in eight different Caribbean countries for the past 13 years.

Larry Hess was appointed field director of Europe: Western/Mediterranean/Middle East at the 2006 General Assembly. Before joining World Missions, he spent 15 years as the international director of ministerial development. He has also served as a state youth and Christian education director, chaplain with the Ministry to the Military in Spain, and as a pastor in Colorado, Florida, Virginia and Louisiana. He is also a published author of three books and has served on numerous church boards and committees.

David E. Ramirez was appointed Field Director to Latin America: Mexico/Central America/Brazil/South America at the 2012 General Assembly. For two years he served as the Director to South America (2008-2010). He also served for two years as the Administrative Bishop for the Southwestern Hispanic Region, CA/AZ (2006-2008). For twenty years he served as the President of the South American Seminary (SEMISUD) and founder and Senior pastor of Capilla del Valle Church of God in Ecuador (with 800 people in attendance). His M. Div. is from PTS and his D. Min. from Asbury Theological Seminary in Advance Leadership and Biblical Preaching.
David has served in several Boards including the Church of God Executive Council (2006-2010; 2012-).
