CHALLENGE?

Church of God World Missions operates in 180 countries around the world supporting over 600 missionaries and numerous projects. Throughout its history, "Winning the Lost" has been and always will be the central purpose of Missions.

In the days and times we live, this mission is more imperative than ever. FINISH CHALLENGE is a focused effort to direct all our time and resources into completing the great commission. The following actions are the keys to success.

To FINISH the Great Commission, we must FIND Unreached People Groups, engage them in love and win them to Christ.

REVEAL COMMITMENTS

Of the 6,980 UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUPS (UPGs) in the world, World Mission is already engaged in active ministry with 72 groups. We will IDENTIFY and ENGAGE with 250 UPGs by 2020.

To FINISH the Great Commission we must INTERCEDE in prayer for the harvest by involving the entire Church of God in a global prayer initiative.

REVEAL COMMITMENTS

A worldwide PRAYER INITIATIVE will be launched that will commit to 1 MILLION HOURS of INTERCESSION each year between now and 2020.

To FINISH the Great Commission we must NURTURE the missions calling by creating new opportunities for leadership, coaching/mentoring training, and we must open new venues of service.

By the year 2020, we will CONNECT 250,000 believers with Great Commission MINISTRY as missionaries, faith partners, local missions representatives, caregivers, intercessors, and encouragers.

To FINISH the Great Commission we must INVEST our resources in developing new partners and planting new churches globally.

To REACH Great Commission goals, we will plant 12,000 NEW CONGREGATIONS around the world by the year 2020.

To FINISH the Great Commission we must SEND servant leaders, caregivers and missionaries, and into the ripened harvest.

By the year 2020, we will MAXIMIZE the workforce in the field to complete the MISSIONAL MANDATE of Christ.

To FINISH the Great Commission we must commit the entire church to spiritual, benevolent, and caring HARVEST efforts in World Evangelization ministries.

With the ANOINTING POWER of the Lord of the Harvest, we will COMMIT ourselves to the higher priority of REACHING the world by preaching, making disciples, baptizing, and teaching.
